What process adds carbon dioxide to the air?

Answer : Burning fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas is the main source of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. These fuels include carbon that is emitted into the atmosphere as CO2 when they are burned for energy. This is due to the creation of carbon dioxide, which is created when carbon in fossil fuels reacts with oxygen in the air.

Volcanic eruptions and the deterioration of organic materials are just two examples of natural processes that affect the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. However, the main cause of the current increase in atmospheric CO2 levels is human activity, specifically the combustion of fossil fuels. The main factor causing climate change is this rise in CO2 levels in the atmosphere.
